Dwight Eubanks Hosts the Top 10 Salons and Spas of Pennsylvania Awards Gala

VOG SALON (Philadelphia, PA), RICHARD NICHOLAS (Philadelphia, PA), CALISTA GRAND (Westchester, PA), and ENVY STUDIO (Lancaster, PA) were among the big winners at the Top 10 Pennsylvania Awards, each taking home an award at the Whisper Club in Center City Philadelphia .

This award presentation, benefiting the Pink Hair For Hope Foundation and sponsored in part by SHE USA, was held on SUNDAY JULY 1st at WHISPER CLUB in center city Philadelphia (1712 Walnut Street).

Celebrity Stylist, Dwight Eubanks, formerly of Bravo’s Atlanta Housewives, was the presenter of the evening along with the Celebrity Wardrobe Stylist Jen Abrams. Mr. Eubanks was present at this awards ceremony not because of his notoriety as a co-star on the hit reality show. Instead, the owner of Purple Door Salon located in Atlanta, was at this memorable event as a fellow hairstylist who takes pride in the Beauty Industry and supports the professionals who are fighting to maintain a reputation of excellence. In his opening speech, Mr. Eubanks spoke on the endless opportunities in the Industry, especially when it comes to the Hair Professional. He also touched on the importance of being a certified hair professional and obtaining continued education within the field of cosmetology.

 

Philadelphia was the first  city chosen to kick off “Top 10″ PA and will be followed by “Top 10″, NJ, NY, Long Island, Chicago, Los Angeles and Miami.

Clients and customers alike were invited to attend and cheer for their favorite salon and spa. The public was also encouraged to come in force in support of this profession. There were some wonderfully decadent treats for the guests provided by some of Tri-State areas best caterers.  It was hard to choose between them all. From the Shrimp rolls by Crystal Rose Catering, to the delicious cocktails of Twice the Spice Caterers.  And for dessert, the sinfully sweet cookies and cakes of Amy’s Creative Cakes. It was truly a night that effortlessly combined business and pleasure.
